ENTRY AND LIVING ROOM MAKEOVER - Brief: Clients wanted to update their entry to be warm and welcoming and never used their living room as it was too dark and not user friendly.

Solution: Wilkinson Brochier created comfortable new fireside seating for entertaining family and friends and a reading nook for the lady of the house with mid-century Baker chairs. Heavy drapes were removed and replaced with gorgeous textured linen and twine drapes plus woven roman shades. A soothing color palette of blues, natural creams and taupes was spiked with touches of oriental red, black and ecru and brass.

CITY BACHELOR PAD - Brief: Create a home for a busy single client starting a new life in San Francisco.

Solution: Wilkinson Brochier took a dated, soul-less apartment and created a sleek and sophisticated retreat using the client's favorite color orange in accent pieces. Curvy velvet sofas, swivel armchairs, leather piped mohair ottomans, silk rugs, textured blinds, and lush woolen drapes throughout created a warm sense of luxury. Texture and small details like the leather-wrapped, custom chandelier and graphic art add subtle glamor. A new galley kitchen with an eat-in banquette was installed, bathrooms updated and a reading window seat created in the master bedroom.

PACIFIC HEIGHTS FAMILY KITCHEN

KITECHEN FAMILY ROOM - Brief: With the arrival of our clients' first child, it was time to rethink the functionality of their apartment's living space. Solution: Wilkinson Brochier opened the kitchen and a small adjacent dining room to create an open plan family kitchen area. The new central island has become the hub of the young family's home.
